Sickening footage has emerged of a violent thug knocking an innocent commuter to the ground with a brutal king hit.
A 30-year-old man was making a phone call while waiting for his train at Richmond Train Station in inner Melbourne about 8.45pm when he was attacked.
The one-punch attack was captured on CCTV footage and released in hopes it will assist the police in catching the attacker, who is still at large.

The footage, which was released by Victoria Police, shows an irate bald male pacing up and down platform six at the station, appearing to be talking to himself.
The man on his phone attempted to avoid the bald man and stood by the phone booth.
As a train pulled up, the man suddenly attacked the other commuter by punching him in the left side of his head.
The victim collapsed, hitting his head on the bottom of the booth, and was knocked unconscious.
The thug is then seen fleeing the scene, running down the stairs and exiting the east end of the station.
It is alleged there was no contact between the pair before the assault.
The victim received facial, back and head injuries and was transported to hospital by ambulance, but has since been released.
Police have released images of a man they believe can assist with enquiries, described as Caucasian, of a medium build, aged in his 30-40s with a shaved head.
