Topless activists from the radical feminist group FEMEN were arrested in Paris today after staging a protest in front of the Arc de Triomphe.

With the words ‘Fake Peacemakers’ written on their bare chests, three female protesters demonstrated in front of the monument where world leaders commemorated the 100th anniversary Sunday of the end of the First World War.

They were dragged away by police using force when they refused to move along.

Activists also painted the slogan ‘real dictators’ across their bodies as part of the protest.

Photos showed the three women holding placards spattered with fake blood.

French news reports said police quickly took the protesters away.
