Armie Hammer’s new film On the Basis of Sex kicked off AFI Fest as the Opening Night gala presentation, with the actor taking in the premiere with his wife Elizabeth Chambers.
The couple were seen making their way through the crowd during the world premiere screening at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood.
Hammer and Chambers were also spotted with Hammer’s co-star, Felicity Jones and her husband Charles Guard, at the opening night gala screening.

Hammer, 32, was seen wearing a white shirt under a unique black coat, which had a red and blue stripe down the lapel.
The actor was also wearing navy blue pants with black shoes, with a watch spotted on his left wrist.
The actor was all smiles as he held hands with his wife as they made their way into the screening.

Chambers, 36, was seen wearing a unique green pantsuit with bellbottom pants, which was cinched off with a small black belt.
She was also seen carrying a small black box and other items into the screening.
Hammer and Chambers were married in May 2010, after dating for three years, and the couple have two children together, daughter Harper, 3, and son Ford, 1.

Hammer plays Marty Ginsburg, the husband of Ruth Bader Ginsburg (Felicity Jones), with the film showcasing the struggles she endured before being just the second female Justice appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court.
The film also stars Justin Theroux as lawyer Mel Wulf, Kathy Bates as judge Dorothy Kenyon and Cailee Spaeny as Ruth and Marty’s daughter, Jane.
Focus Features has scheduled On the Basis of Sex for limited release in theaters on December 25.

Hammer is coming off the critically-acclaimed indie hit Sorry To Bother You, and he also has Hotel Mumbai, with Jason Isaacs and Dev Patel coming up.
The actor is also slated to star in Death on the Nile, a follow-up to last year’s Murder On the Orient Express, which brings back Kenneth Branagh as Detective Hercule Poirot.
He is also slated to return as Oliver in a sequel to last year’s Best Picture nominee Call Me By Your Name.
