Cheryl reveals she’s ALREADY bought all of baby Bear’s Christmas gifts

She’s currently preparing for her return from a three-year musical hiatus, but Cheryl admits she’s still found time to buy all of son Bear’s Christmas presents – more than a month ahead of time.

Speaking to Capital Breakfast ahead of her forthcoming performance on the second night of  Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball, the former Girls Aloud star, 35, revealed her busy schedule has not prevented her from avoiding the last minute rush for gifts.

‘I have done all the baby’s Christmas shopping, that’s done and in the bag,’ she told hosts Roman Kemp, Vick Hope and Sonny Jay on Wednesday morning.

It will be Cheryl’s second Christmas with son Bear, her only child with former boyfriend Liam Payne, and she admits the fact that that he is getting older makes it all the more special because he was too young to appreciate his first.

‘He was still crawling (last year), so this time he is going to be able to run to his presents and rip them open,’ she added.

Cheryl’s admission comes as she prepares to release new single Love Made Me Do It,a track that will no doubt feature when she takes to the stage at Jingle Ball on December 9.

And the singer admitted she can’t wait for people to hear her first musical outfit since 2015, along with one or two older tracks when she does finally return to the stage.

‘I’ve been away for too long so I’m excited to get back!’ she said.

Cheryl also had high praise for presenter Vick after watching the 29-year old perform with professional dancer Graziano Di Prima on the current series of Strictly Come Dancing.

‘I just want to tell you I think you are absolutely stunning,’ she told her. ‘I’ve seen you a couple of times on Strictly and I’ve seen you in pictures a lot lately and I just think you’re so beautiful.’

Cheryl has previously explained why she has been absent from the music scene for the past four years, revealing she had ‘just had enough’.

Speaking on fellow singer Jessie Ware’s podcast Table Manners, she said of her hiatus: ‘I needed it for my sanity. I honestly didn’t know how much I needed it until I did it. I’d just had enough.’

She added: ‘I wasn’t inspired, I was jaded. It felt like a negative space I was living in and then you get to the point where it’s like “What is the point?” I could be doing something I hate doing and feel the same way, so why am I like putting myself through this? I like a balance. I like peace and harmony in my life.’

These revelations come days before her new single Love Made Me Do It is released, which fans have speculated is a bitter way to hit back at One Direction ex Liam.

The songstress teased the track on Instagram on Tuesday morning, and the lyrics have raised eyebrows.

‘Oh my god, I’m such a sucker, I fall in love with every f***er,’ she sings, as revealed by an official press release for the track.

However, Cheryl has slammed the idea that she is targeting her One Direction star ex via her new music.

Speaking about what to expect from her new album, Cheryl said: ‘All the music and all the songs that I’ve got ready were done way before we split – none of them are about anybody. I wasn’t sat writing a love poem to anyone or about anybody.

‘It’s something that anyone who’s been in love will be able to relate to in some way or another. It’s catchy and it’s fun. It’s not about one specific person or relationship, it’s more about me being the lover of love that I am. I just love love!’

She concluded: ‘I’m excited. I’m comfortable and confident in the music, but I’m just happy to be doing it again. I’m not nervous about it, I don’t feel pressure, I just feel excited.’
