A young British mother-of-two has died in ‘tragic circumstances’ on holiday with her fiance in Lanzarote.
Emma Pender, 29, flew to the Canary Islands with her partner Neil Capewell on October 23 for a romantic getaway.
But disaster struck on October 30 and paramedics were scrambled to their Rubicon Palace hotel in the resort of Playa Blanca.
She was pronounced dead shortly after, leaving her husband-to-be devastated.
Details of how she died have not yet been released by officials.
Ms Pender, of Newcastle-under-Lyme in Staffordshire, was mother to a nine-year-old son and seven-year-old daughter.

The couple were staying at the Rubicon Palace Hotel in Lanzarote’s Playa Blanca resort (pictured). Mr Capewell had posted several pictures of the couple’s holiday before she died
In an emotional tribute to her on his Facebook page, Mr Capewell wrote: ‘Emma you meant the world to be [sic] and i can’t believe you have gone.
‘I love you with all my heart and I will never stop loving you, I miss you so much and miss everything about you my life isn’t going to be the same without you, fly high babes love you so much xxxxxxxx ‘
Others left touching messages expressing their sadness, with one describing her as ‘beautiful inside and out’.
The day before Ms Pender’s death, Mr Capewell posted a picture of a swimming pool lined with palm trees with the caption: ‘Happy Monday’.
He had posted several other pictures of the the pair’s holiday, before the tragedy unfolded.

North Staffordshire Coroner’s Court confirmed they had been made aware of Emma’s death and were awaiting additional information.
A Foreign Office spokesman told MailOnline: ‘Our staff are supporting the family of a British woman following her death in Lanzarote.’
No date has yet been set for Emma’s funeral. An inquest into her death is yet to be opened.
Her death notice reads: ‘Tragically passed away on Tuesday, October 30 whilst in Lanzarote aged 29 years.
‘Much loved and loving mummy to Ashley and Elle, much-loved daughter of Carl and Angela, dearly loved partner of Neil, special sister to Amy.’
Just before they left on holiday Neil posted a picture of him and Emma with the message ‘Love this girl to the moon and back’.
